Easy to Cook Recipes

Easy malai kulfi


Ingredients
 2 cups whole milk
 1/2 cup condensed milk
 1/4 cup dry milk powder
 2 teaspoons white sugar, or to taste (optional)
 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
 1 pinch saffron threads
 1/4 cup chopped pistachio nuts




Directions


1. Stir the milk, condensed milk, and dry milk powder together in a heavy-bottomed pan and bring to a boil. Add the sugar, cardamom, and saffron to the boiling milk; reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature; fold the pistachio nuts into the mixture.
2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until solid, about 1 hour

APPLE AND ALMOND HALWA RECIPE

Ingredients

 4 Apples (grated) 
 1 cup Almonds 
 2 Green Cardamoms 
 2 inch stick Cinnamon 
 1 cup Milk Powder 
 Â¾ cup Sugar 
 Â¼ cup Pure Ghee




How to make Apple and Almond Halwa:

 Parboil the almonds and blend to make a paste.
 Heat oil or ghee in a thick bottom pan and add grated apples and sugar to it and cook stirring till the texture begins to change.



It is essential to add sugar along with the apples, so that the apples do not get completely mashed.
Add cinnamon sticks and whole green cardamom and stir it well. Add the almond paste and stir cook on high heat for 2-3 min.

Reduce the flame and add milk powder. Stir and cook on low heat till you get halwa consistency. Serve hot at room temperature.


Rose ice cream

Ingredients
 1 pinch saffron
 2 tablespoons warm milk
 1 1/2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
 1 1/2 tablespoons rose syrup
 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
 1/4 cup chopped pistachio nuts


 
Directions
1. Add the saffron to the warm milk and set aside for 15 minutes.
2. Combine the softened ice cream, saffron with milk, rose syrup, cardamom, and pistachios in a large bowl. Stir until the ice cream is smooth and pink in color. Scoop the ice cream back into the container and freeze 2 hours, or until ready to eat.
